Goodbye to Everything.
I love my laptop.

Yes, it’s a Dell product, so its inclination is to misbehave for no apparent reason. But I’ve decided it was a wise choice for a few reasons:

1) It’s the size of a fat netbook, and yet it’s still a full-blown laptop. I can run almost anything on this baby and it doesn’t stutter. Granted, it isn’t the king of speed, but it does what I want it to do rather well. It does all this while being the same dimensions as a couple of paper notebooks stacked on top of each other. I can comfortably fit it on those shitty not-really-desks (more like 2-by-4s amirite?) we use in college.

2). Its battery lasts 8-9 hours. I always bring it to school without a charger, which is super nice. I never need to hunt for an outlet or worry about plugging it in. Right now I’m using it as a battery-powered router for my desktop in the garage, since I have no desk in my room. How cool is that?

3) I can switch the video card to the higher powered one, and stream HD-quality stuff onto any TV with the HDMI port on the side. I also have almost every other port known to man on the side of the laptop. No adapters for me! (bite me Mac users.) The stronger video card cuts battery life to about 3-4 hours, which is still plenty for a movie or show.

4) It looks so goddamn sexy.
