Silence them all.
This was an incredibly lousy week.

No motivation whatsoever, projects and homework not finished until the last minute, staying up until 3 each night either complaining, procrastinating, or doing what I was actually supposed to be doing. I missed turning in a math assignment because I was so incompetent.

I went for a run on Tuesday and my shins felt weird for the first time in a long while. It doesn’t feel like splints yet, but they felt numb. I think my hamstrings have tightened up again and are pulling on my calves, which are pulling on my shins. Ugh.

Somehow the circuit breaker for my room got thrown on Wednesday. Somewhere in the shuffle of it being thrown and me trying to reset it, the power supply to my computer was fried.

But on the bright side, I started talking to two of my friends who are involved in racing. One races cars, and the other races motorcycles. I’m thinking about pursuing a career in racing—not necessarily as a driver, but maybe as a tech, an engineer, pit crew, I don’t care. Being a part of a racing team would be amazing, and I think I’d be really happy doing it. I’d get to hear the beautiful sounds of engines, be a part of a highly competitive environment, travel the world, and work on beautifully engineered machines. And hell no I’m not talking about NASCAR. MotoGP, GT1, GT3, ALMS, F1… where the legitimacy is at.
